Today we will recap Epic Games game changing instalment Fortnite Battle Royale. We are going to look at the cosmetic DLC that has taken the world by storm. The Fortnite Battle Royale Skins Past, Present and Future. Fortnite is a multiplatform game which has created quite a buzz in the gaming industry. With access to most popular platforms today, Fortnite has linked together gamers of all generations. With gamers from the 80’s, 90’s up to our present-day, it’s a game that is doing all the right moves. In the early days of gaming we could only dream of what we experience today. It’s a milestone for Epic, and its team of developers, as well as for the gamers of our time.
Fortnite Battle Royale Skins.
Over the next few moments, we will check out each season and its release of one of the most talked about subjects- the skins. The skins are earned through tier challenges, tier purchases as well as the item shop.
Fortnite Battle Royale Season 1 Skins.
We were introduced to the Epic Ghoul and Skull Trooper. Skull Troopers uniform or skin was very unique and 80’s like, very retro. Recently one of the most highly requested skins in my opinion, in which adds a little flare to the fire. Also, in this season we were brought the likes of some other now familiar faces. Skins like the rare Aerial Assault, Infiltrator, Brawler, to the uncommon Pathfinder, Trooper, and Commando. These were the original lineup after the game’s premier July,25, 2017.
Fortnite Battle Royale Season 2 Skins.
We have the following skins you can achieve from Tier 1 to 70. This was the first start to the Battle pass where I made my first purchases of skins in the Store. That’s was Crackshot and Merry Marauder. It brought a very holiday feel to the game. It made you feel right at home. At Tier 1 we have the Blue Squire, known as ” the bold warrior of Moisty Mire” and part of the Fort Knights set, this skin is unlocked at the very first of the Battle Pass. Next, we move ourselves up to the Royal Knight coming in at the Tier 21 spot. This is “the dauntless champion of Tomato Town.” Then we execute some challenges to the tier 56 spot with the Sparkle Specialist. With the “it’s time to shine” depiction we know she is going for the win. Now for the last of this short season we have the Black Knight. At tier 70, you have unlocked the most legendary looking character in my eyes. A nice addition to the Fort Knights set and seen as the ” “The odious scourge of Wailing Woods”.
Fortnite Battle Royale Season 3 Skins.
With some new additions to the map. We see the first of Tilted Towers the bar raising level to this Battle Royale. “If you make it out of Tilted alive”, became a pretty common theme. This season was a different perspective of our Battle Royale skins. We see a Space theme come into light. With Mission Specialist and his somewhat orange outfit I would say, we can see that we have some out of this world events to come. As part of the Space Explorers Set, we are now officially counting down to something extraordinary. At Tier 1, Mission Specialist made his debut. As part of the Battle Pass Season 3, “All systems go” will kick off this very witty Season in my opinion. People were going in at all degrees with the interpretation and conspiracies of the game. I would say it was a lot of fun reading where the creative thoughts travel, it was to the great beyond and insanity at the same time. Plenty of trolling hit the market and the butts of many players. This game created such a stir, I have never seen anything like this in my entire gaming life. I will admit, people got carried away… just a bit.
So, back to this Season we go. Now unlocked at Tier 23 we see Rust Lord as part of the Storm Scavenger Set. A very Post-apocalyptic approach, we know who has been raiding and picking at the local junk yard. With a very artsy cool design, we get a glimpse into the fate of Fortnite and its story line among other things. That we can discuss another day. Next after knocking out a good chunk of tiers, we run into Moonwalker. Almost at the center of the 100 tiers, this outfit has a different tone. “Boldly Going for Victory” Moonwalker means to be smooth like legendary moonwalk on stage. No but it sounds like it to me. She definitely has the confidence.
After grinding a few gears, we hit Tier 70. Here we unlock one of my own personal favourites, Dark Voyager. It serves no justice to even describe the likes of this skin. I personally favour this over The Reaper, but The Reaper comes in last for a reason. Possibly to put an end to some features, turn of events, or maybe to make people feel like John Wick? I think it goes more with the story mode. Maybe he put the last pile of dirt on those people who would hide under the map? No, just leading us into the next season. So, these were our skins to achieve or purchase this Season. If you followed the Item shop, we seen the first of Leviathan as well as the Dark Vanguard. Both are excellent skins. Leviathan is rumoured to appear in some some turn of events this next season.
Fortnite Battle Royale Season 4 Skins.
We have a whole new theme that I feel rocks the Battle ground like no other. With rumours of tilted getting destroyed or a new makeover, it finally took a hit. Not so much as Dusty Depot, but its cosmetics are retrievable. Taking the lead at Tier 1 is Carbide and BattleHawk. Carbide with the “heed the call to action”. He serves up some new additions to the game. With new modifications and gear, and the abilities with interchangeable parts leaves us to the endless possibilities and variations of skins. A little more defined then previous editions in Fortnite Battle Royale. BattleHawk with his “swoop in and claim victory” brings some unique fashion to the set. This skin has people speculating on the appearance and if he is or not Thor. I guess we will find out more as the game unravels the plot.
Now moving up to Tier 23, we find a nice touch to the variety of skins. Another one of my favourite is Teknique. As part of the Aerosol Assassins, she delivers a wicked style also with the “spray up a storm” depiction. Next, we move along up to Tier47 with Zoey with her “candy coated chaos”. As part of the Sweet Tooth set, she brings an eerie taste to the game. Don’t let the cute leggings stop you in your tracks. She will chew you up and spit you out. Now hacking our way to tier 71, we earn Valour. As one of the valiant set, and description as “a beacon of hope” we can’t help but notice her strong essence on the battlefield. Now this season we also have another skin you can unlock at tier 87. Unlike before you have to grind and shine your way to tier 100. So, with that being said, we unleash Squad Leader. As described “first in, last out” you know this soldier will put up a fight.
As part of the Advanced Forces, by now you would have a great variety of skins to enjoy.
So, since the release of Epics “Fortnite’s”, Battle Royale we have had a multitude of winners and losers in the game. Some skins come and go, loved and disliked, and are rare and pretty common. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to cover all the skins, like the Winter Olympic skins as well as the others not mentioned here. With that being said, we have one more to cover in our tier 100 spot. At tier 100 we see Omega unleashed. With this “there can only be one” depiction, that is a lot to be said. We have a skin for just about every personality out there. Which leads us to the next season and near future of this popular PVP game. For those who don’t know, Player Versus Player is where it’s at.
Fortnite Battle Royale Season 5 Rumours.
So finally, we will cover the latest buzz. It is rumoured that our map will have some unique changes. The themes have been said to have historical architect as well as matching skins. In the prior 2 seasons we seen telescopes and space debris as well as astronauts. With a new Rocket on site, it is really hard to tell what is coming next. On top of all of the space debris and movie sets, we have seen guest such as Thanos make a debut. Leviathan and perhaps an Alpha to the Omega. Its rumoured that some new interesting patch updates are coming for Tilted. For all we know, we might see a whole new map by escaping on the Rocket, or maybe a villain will make their great escape. The setting of the rocket ship and base does match Raven, he seems to fit the role.
So, throughout all Season we encounter some of the most dynamic character skins to get the Fortnite’s item shop rolling. With a skin for just about every Fortnite enthusiast, this game has only begun to rock ‘n’ roll. These past seasons we have seen Merry Marauder and Ginger Gunner, as well as Codename Elf. Crackshot made a debut as well as the Vuletide Ranger. Epics Funk Ops rolls in the with the Disco Brawl adding even more love to a combative Battle Royale. With more sequins the Liberace his attacks are notably exceptional. Also, we seen the premier of Desperado, Absolute Zero, and Raptor. Then our vibrant Brite Bomber who will wreck your day and possibly break your heart, delivers some variegated moves. On the dark side of things, we also seen Shadow Ops with her “you didn’t see a thing” and also a part of the Stealth Syndicate set. Arctic Assassin with her cold-hearted fashion and looks that can kill. Her objective was to come in to win have you “stay frosty”. We have seen many kinds of skins.
These are the gems of the games, so whether you grind hard on a counsel, PC or at your Job or Career, we have the ability to pick and choose as you wish. I will never understand those who think they can tell you how to earn your skin. However, you choose is your choice, if you earned it by grinding through levels or grinding with you work hustle, we are all here on Fortnite under the one Holy Grail of gaming history.
